About Us

Jeff Watts Productions was established on January 1, 1986 with the launch of our first television program, Outdoor Trails with Barry Stokes.

Jeff then moved on to develop the first High School sports programming with the McDonald’s High School Football Round-up in 1990. The Round-up launched JWP into high school programming and soon after developed the High School Xtra on a state-wide basis. Our high school programming has continued to be a vital part to JWP’s success, as we continue to produce the High School Edge Game of the Week and High School Edge Live.

Jeff Watts Productions currently produces a sports package for the Southland Conference, which includes a weekly Southland Conference football game, basketball game, and a monthly magazine-style show.

Also in production is a 13-week television program for the Texas Agrilife Research and Extension Center, out of Texas A&M University, for PBS. This show covers every topic from garden tips, to cooking and water conservation.

JWP also produces the Cotton Bowl’s videoboard, SMU’s jumbotron in both football, basketball and volleyball, as well as live event productions for USA Diving, Tiger Woods Tiger Jam, and the nationally acclaimed golf tournament the Mesquite Amateur in Mesquite, NV.
